While you can't select which training provider you train with, we will always aim to match you with the institution that best suits your individual needs.
Skyborne were founded in 2017 and have their head office and UK training facility at Gloucestershire Airport, the UK's busiest general aviation airport. Their fantastic facility there contains five large classrooms, state-of-the-art flight simulators, a maintenance facility and a bespoke assessment suite. Their UK fleet consists of Diamond DA-42 aircraft, as well as two Diamond DA-42 simulators and a Boeing 737 MAX simulator.
Skyborne also have a fantastic fair-weather base at Vero Beach, Florida, where trainees conduct their single engine flight training and CPL, using Piper Warrior and Arrow aircraft.
Trainees at Skyborne's UK base will be hosted in their excellent single-room town house accommodation, located in close proximity to Gloucestershire Airport.
Their training courses incorporate progress tests throughout. allowing them to identify any areas where extra support may be required, addressing development needs before retesting.
FTEJerez have over 30 years of experience in flight training, originating as British Aerospace Flying College in 1988 before transitioning to the company they are today. They offer a wide range of training services including pilot training, air traffic control training, drone training courses and more. FTE boast a purpose-built, aviation campus in Jerez, Spain, where all of the ground school and flight training takes place.
FTE's fleet consists of a mixture of Diamond DA42, Piper Arrow and Piper Warrior aircraft, as well as Boeing, Airbus and DA42 simulators.
Their accommodation is situated on campus, allowing easy access to all of the facilities, and consists of serviced single rooms, featuring a private bathroom, Internet and air conditioning.
FTEJerez employs approximately 150 permanent staff to deliver training and associated services, including over 40 fulltime and experienced flight instructors.
Leading Edge Aviation, founded in 2018, aims to offer their students more than just flight training and help them to develop every aspect of themselves. Their main campus is based at Oxford Airport, with their fair-weather base located in Alhama, Spain.
Leading Edge's fleet includes Diamond DA40 and DA42 aircraft, and they also house a DA42 and Airbus A320 simulator.
They have a portfolio of four accommodation blocks for our students, all situated within a short distance from their Oxford Airport campus.
At the Alhama Campus, students will stay in air-conditioned, self-catering apartments and benefit from 24-hour on-site security.
